The Federal Student Aid PIN was an electronic personal identification number that served as a student’s or parent’s identifier to allow access to personal information in various U.S. Department of Education (ED) systems and acted as a digital signature on some online forms.
Note: The Federal Student Aid PIN was phased out on May 10, 2015 in favor of the FSA ID.
